Using the Google calendar for meal sign ups

Here is an example of how we can use a google calendar to sign up to bring meals to the family. This calendar is "PUBLIC" so do not use any identifying information on it. Just your initials and the meal you will provide. More details will be posted as I figure this out. Note-Please wait to sign up for meals. Heidi will be the coordinator of meals, and she will let us know when they are needed. -Jamie

Thanks Jamie, I talked to Tracy about putting a cooler outside on her porch when the time comes to receive meals. Thanks everyone for your help with everything

Heidi, Great idea about the cooler. We should look into buying commercial foil casserole and baking pans, so they don't have to worry about washing and returning everyone's serving dishes.

Hey Jamie, and Tracy,

I could get some supplies at United Grocer and then people don't have to worry about getting containers back. Maybe we could have coffee some of us and make a plan and Tracy could let us know what she likes and what portions she would like also. When a friend needed meals recently, we all put stuff in a cooler outside her door and left things in a basket designated for that. I sent fun stuff too. like flowers and eggs from our chickens. I also froze my sauce in case she didn't want to use it that day. Many ways to approach this. We all want to make it easy for all sides. Again Thanks

I want to participate with this. Please let me know when I (we) can start signing up for days. I work at a cancer center and am well aware of the importance in high protein meals. I'm on board!!!

I think I've got it Jamie. It is a little confusing though. I had to access the calendar via my gmail acct, not the blog. Also, is it possible to post the calendar at the beginning of the blog so it is easier to see right off the bat?
